The Lewis and Clark humane society
A local and privately owned and operated not for profit organization established to provide shelter for abandoned or stray animals primarily cats or dogs. The humane society strives to provide new homes for abandoned pets and also works to help end overpopulation. The adoption process is easy and affordable.
This shelter serves our community and surrounding areas with fulltime staff and is governed by a panel of 11 board directors. This shelters primary revenue is from Donations, government contracts, and service fees. The Humane Society has over 300 volunteers each year adding an additional 5,000 hours of help to the animals. The Humane Society provides a wide array of supports for our animals including:
Shelter, Adoptions, Protection, Public outreach and education, Euthanasia and Cremation.
The Montana Food Bank Network
“Founded in 1983, the Montana Food Bank Network is a nonprofit organization that works to end hunger in Montana through food acquisition and distribution, education and advocacy.”
“As the only statewide food bank they solicit, repackage, store, and redistribute donated and purchased food to charitable programs that serve hungry Montanans. Each year the Food Bank distributes over 8 million pounds of food to a variety of charity programs to help feed the hungry. North Ridge Roofing is a Proud supporter of this Program!
